Here some totally easy totally delicious tried-and-tested fool-proof recipes to get you started:
Fresh Berry Medley
open a punnet of blueberries, a punnet of raspberries, and a punnet of whatever-berries into a lovely dish, sprinkle with some natural yoghurt and maple syrup or honey, and enjoy ...
Pre-heat the oven to about 150C. Take 1 bag of fresh kale, spread out on a baking tray. Put in the oven and check every 2-3 minutes – depending on your preference bake for 10 mins for a very crispy kale crisp, or less for less crispy crisps. You may also like to pour some vegetable stock cube or a little olive oil over the kale, or add onion rings to the mix before you put it in the oven. Play around with tastes and preferences.
Apple Cinnamon Bites
Thinly slice a large apple (or two), spread some peanut/almond butter onto every slice, decorate the slices nicely on a large plate. Then, drizzle with honey and some cinnamon. Voila, a delicious treat!
Take a deep pan saucepan and lid, heat up on medium heat, add 2 tablespoons butter/olive oil/coconut oil, add enough corn kernels to cover the entire bottom of the pan, close the lid. Wait around until you start hearing the popping. Serve straight away.
