What data do we collect? Grassroots Nutrition collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, etc.)

  • Health status questionnaire data

  • We also collect client data through functional testing, genetic testing and blood tests.

 

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Grassroots Nutrition with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online or place an order for any of our products or services.

  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.

  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

  • Clinic questionnaires in order to enable us to obtain vital information for consultations.

  • Grassroots Nutrition may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:

  • GPs and functional testing laboratories including BTS Ireland and MyDNA Health

 

How will we use your data?

Grassroots Nutrition collects your data so that we can:

  • Understand your health status and can provide appropriate and accurate nutritional advice

  • Carry out specific testing pertinent to providing a professional consultation

  • Process your order and manage your account.

  • Email you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like.

 

How do we store your data?

Grassroots Nutrition securely stores your data at The Ridge, Dunganstown West, Kilbride Wicklow. Hard copy content is stored in a locked cupboard. Soft copies are stored electronically and all efforts are made to ensure your data is secure.

Grassroots Nutrition will keep adults’ records including personal information and test results if applicable for five years, and children’s records for seven years. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your records by shredding them. A client may request that their data is destroyed at any time before this time expires, I will require a signature for that.

Marketing

Grassroots Nutrition may send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like, as well as those of our partner companies.

  • Our partner organisations include NutriAdvanced, BTS Ireland MyDNA

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.

You have the right at any time to stop Grassroots Nutrition from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your data to other members of the Grassroots Nutrition Group.
